Arif and Unge Ferrari have had a fantastic year, with selling out Oslo Spektrum in December as a main highlight. This summer they will headline several major festivals, but when the request for a collaboration with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra was presented, they saw their chance to do something really special to mark the end of the festival season: what would be more elegant than ending their tour in one of the country’s finest concert halls, along with an entire symphony orchestra? What’s crazier than replacing tracks and beats with 85 musicians and one conductor?

The Stavanger Symphony Orchestra was founded before the grandparents of both Arif and Young Ferrari were born (1938), and they are a renowned orchestra with a long and traditional history. But they now share their musicality and experience in this perhaps, not entirely obvious collaboration – Arif and Unge Ferrari will become the first hip hop / urban artists who will create a full concert with an orchestra in Norway. The process is already in full swing, and let’s just say, all parties involved already know it’s going to be great!
