From Mozart’s lively symphony to a brand-new trombone concerto.

Mozart’s bright and energetic Symphony No. 33 opens the evening, before trombonist Ian Bousfield performs Francisco Coll’s newly commissioned work.

After the interval, Shostakovich takes us into one of the most intense symphonic landscapes in music history with his Fifth Symphony.
