It goes without saying that the the multi-instrumentalist carries a variety of instruments. Kaada features this variety in a large-scale creative work. He is famous for making fantastic emotional music for movies, albums and concerts.

Genre-crossing and experimental, yet accessible compositions are standard elements in Kaada’s music. At this concert he will perform new and older compositions, together with musicians from the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra.

“It was really ‘being a pianist’ that I dreamed about when I grew up. I studied classical piano with subsequent jazz studies in New York. But then composed the music for a couple of films, “Mongoland” and “Everything about my father”, both of which received a lot of attention, and I then fell into being a composer and it became a full-time job. There was less time for piano playing. In 2017 I did some solo concerts in Germany and Norway, and I realised how much I missed it. Now I’ve got a nice grand piano and spend a lot of the day in front of the keys again. During the concert with Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, I will also bring with me several other instruments that I like to make music with, “says Kaada.
