The Stavanger Symphony Orchestra (SSO) has become one of Scandinavia’s most successful orchestras. The orchestra has experienced significant artistic development in recent years together with an increase in audience numbers, both in Norway and abroad. The new internationally acclaimed concert hall, from 2012, has contributed to the SSO’s further growth. The Orchestra is a democratic organization where the musicians have a unique opportunity to influence both artistic development and working conditions. Our Chief Conductor is Christian Vasquez.

Applicants should fill inn education and work experience , which will be used for selecting the audition invitees.
SSO has 3 harps to use during audition. All Lyon & Healy, Grand Concert no. 11.
We use no screen during audition.
