Hovedserien (the Main Series) is the back bone of the concerts by Stavanger Symfoniorkester. There is here a presentation of the width of classical symphony music, from the early 17th century and early baroque, and to the music written in the present time.

KLASSIKERSERIEN (the Classical Journey) consists of 6 concerts, on Friday’s and may for many be a door opener into the sphere of classical music.

Hovedserien (the Main Series) includes 16 concerts held only on Thursday’s. In addition all subscribers are offered a free ticket and two friend tickets (20,- NOK per ticket) for the Friend Concerts in June.

Into the music

The music experience becomes even stronger for those who listen into the presentations by the orchestra prior to each concert in this series. Musicians, conductors and other music experts are presenting for half an hour about the evenings program from 18:30.

“Into the music” is usually in the VIP-lounge on the 5th floor of the concert hall, and is free for everyone who is interested.

Discount for couples with the same address

If purchasing two ordinary subscriptions where two people have the same address, a total discount of 900 NOK (in the red category) or NOK 600 (in the blue category) in the Hovedserie (the Main Series) and 400 NOK (red category) or 200 NOK (blue category) in the Klassikerserie (the Classical Journey). Such a discount will not be awarded in price category 3 (green category). The discount is only applicable to purchase of an ordinary subscription.
